Privacy Policy

This page explains what data Indigeno collects, what we use it for, and how you can manage your personal data. The app is operated by Petr Chutný — contact details are at the bottom of this page.
What data we collect
Depending on how you use the app:
- Account — username, e-mail, optionally first and last name. Your password is stored only as an irreversible hash, never in readable form. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we store only your account ID with them instead of a password.
- Profile picture — either uploaded (up to 3 MB) or taken from your Google/Facebook profile.
- Content you create — songs, comments, wishlist items, uploaded audio recordings (up to 30 MB). Shown according to the visibility you set on it.
- Technical data — a login cookie (valid 30 days), your language preference, and standard server logs (IP address, browser) kept only to catch bugs and abuse.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see traffic and popular pages — but only if you accept the cookie banner on your first visit. Without consent, no analytics code loads and nothing is sent anywhere. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.
Signing in with Google / Facebook
If you sign in or link your account via Google or Facebook, the app only receives your e-mail, name and profile picture from them — nothing else, no access to contacts, messages or posts. These providers have their own privacy policies: Google, Meta/Facebook.
Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
During registration the app uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify you're not a robot. Cloudflare processes some technical browser data for this, under its own policy.
E-mails
We only send e-mails (e.g. a password reset link) when you request them, directly from our own server — no third-party mailing service ever sees your address.
How long we keep your data
For as long as you have an account. You can delete your account any time in Settings — you choose whether songs you added get deleted too, or stay in the catalog (with your name removed from them).
Your rights
You can view and edit your data any time in Settings. For anything else — like a full export of what the app holds about you, or a question — write to the e-mail below.
