About the project
Our intent is to share songs of indigenous tribes, mostly from the Amazon rainforest.
Transcribing these songs perfectly is essentially impossible, since these tribes don't use written language. We try to transcribe the songs phonetically, using spellings from transcriptions by cultures closer to the Amazon.
This project is created by Petr Chutný in collaboration with Tomáš Hlatký and other enthusiasts of indigenous music.
With a registered account you can suggest which song you'd like transcribed with chords (wishlist), and add your own songs. Songs keep an edit history, so nothing is ever lost for good while editing.
